David studied Trombone at the Royal Academy of Music before embarking on a career in music ranging from Principal Trombone at English National Opera to working in studios recording music for films, TV and major recording artists.
He has appeared as soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra playing the David Gow Concertino for Trombone and Orchestra, which was written for him. Other aspects of his work have been playing in over 48 different countries and teaching and coaching for the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music, the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain, the University of Surrey and many other organisations in and around London.
